BituChem and Luctonians Juniors
This Sunday, 30th September, Luctonians will host their annual Junior Festival, as we welcome teams from across Wales and the North Midlands. The Festival will provide our U13-U16 teams the first opportunity to don brand new shirts for this season, all sponsored by our new Junior Section Main Partner BituChem.
Having previously sponsored the Tags to Townships Tour to South Africa back in 2017, where our then U16s visited Cape Town on an incredible tour, BituChem came on board this summer as a long-term supporter of the club, as the main sponsor of the U13-U16 Section.
BituChem are a leading company in providing solutions for highway construction and road surfacing industry, and are based in Gloucestershire. They are also known for NatraTex, their unique coloured asphalt, a hard landscaping product which is an alternative to resin. NatraTex is perfect for Multi-use games areas (MUGAs), footpaths, cycleways etc.
Their support over the coming three years will be focused on facilitating our Junior Development Programme, which aims to improve everything Luctonians offer to our 13-16 age groups, preparing them to be ready for the transition into Colts and then to Seniors.
Pictured above is Neil Robinson, one of the main men at BituChem, presenting the shirts to Club Operations Manager Alex Smith. The shirts are modelled by some of our excellent U13, U14 and U15 players, in front of BituChem’s NatraTex pitchside board.
On the announcement of the agreed partnership, Smith exclaimed “We are delighted to have BituChem on board as a sponsor of such an important part of our club. The U13-U16 age groups are an integral part of the production line that churns out rugby players to continually supply our senior sides.Their support will allow the club to invest even further in the development of these players, giving local lads every opportunity to play and progress in the sport.”
