The hospitality tables days go on sale this coming Monday and we have a very nice selection of home games and events to get your teeth into.
It all starts with back-to-back home games at Mortimer Park, as Lichfield come here on the 1st September for another Lucs In Pink Day, where we will also be doing all we can to raise as much money as possible for The Haven, Hereford.
This is then followed by the visit of Syston on the 8th, and for all you bargain hunters out there this will be the best value for money of the season, as you can get a table of 10 to this game for just £250.
We will celebrate our 70th Anniversary in style on the 22nd September against Nuneaton, with a repeat of the past-players lunch that went so well last season.
Rugby highlights will potentially be the visits of Broadstreet and Bridgnorth. The latter becoming our new derby game, whilst Street also dropped from Level 4 last season, so are likely to be challengers for the league.
We know we tell you to get in quick every season, but if you are fussy and have specific days that you are after you really must get in early next week to secure your tables this year and here is why. We have a reduction of two fewer home league games anyway this season due to the change of level, and we also have three lunches which will be invite only with John Amos and Tallis Amos Group hosting two days, and the 5th January for the visit of Newport being VP and Sponsors Lunch.
All in all once sponsors have selected the tables they want within their packages, other days will be in quite high demand so genuinely don’t hang around this year if you don’t want to be disappointed.
Tables go on sale at one minute past 12 in the early hours of Monday so if you are IT literate then go online as per the last few seasons to the same place we all now renew our memberships and book your tables there.
For those not so IT literate then Sophia will be in the office from 8.30am on Monday morning to take telephone bookings. Please do not contact asking for tables before Monday. We have nearly a thousand members now at this club and several thousand people who follow the fortunes of the place with great interest. If you call up or email ahead of the tables going on sale asking for preferential treatment then we simply cannot do that with the place meaning so much to so many.
