Herefordshire Colleges Academy

The Herefordshire Rugby Academy is designed to give young players the chance to develop rugby talents alongside academic qualifications. Sessions are timetabled so that all students can access quality coaching from Luctonians RFC.

Players have two practical sessions a week and are expected to complete a personal fitness programme, which is player-specific, in the third session. All players who become members of the Academy are given free membership of Sixth Sense Fitness. College fixtures take place on Wednesday afternoons. Player performance is closely monitored and players are required to commit fully to the coaching sessions.

In the closed season players have the opportunity to gain RFU coaching and officiating qualifications which are part-funded by the Academy.

As a culmination of the Sun Valley Project the Herefordshire 6th Form Academy undertook an "Ambassadors" tour of South Africa Last Year.
