Knights XV 2009/10

The Knights XV is a new Performance team for the 2009/10 season and which will play in the Worcester and Hereford Merit Table Division 2. It has been recognised at last, that a Club of Luctonians stature needs to be supported by 3 Senior Performance Teams to accomodate the wealth of talent in the County. This squad will train with the 1st & 2nds and it is anticipated that it will be comprised of players making the transition from Colts rugby into the seniors. Added to this we have a number of newcomers who have been competing in other sports and want to have a go at rugby. Luctonians welcome Mark Matthews to the club as the Knights coach. He used to play in the second row at Bath with Martin Haag and supply ample ball for team mates like Jerry Guscott & Catt
