Ladies Touch Rugby

Do you want to play a sociable, fun sport?

Do you want to get fit without even realising it?

Do you want to meet lots of like minded people?

The RFU runs a scheme to encourage as many women and girls as possible to play some form of rugby, starting with Touch Rugby. This fast, simple and exciting game promotes the fundamental skills of running, handling, evasion and support play, developing basic principles of attack and defence, without fear of getting hurt.

Our teams currently comprise ages 14-50+, at all levels of fitness and experience.

From players who have come out of retirement, through young players looking to aquire a basic knowledge of rugby (before moving on to contact rugby at 18) to ladies who have never picked a ball up in their life but want a fun way to get fit.

Childcare needn’t be an issue; training sessions are a relaxed affair and Luctonians has a great play area and acres of grass to run round on.
Training is on Tuesday evenings 6:00pm – 7:30pm at Luctonians RFC, Mortimer Park.
