Raising Funds For Good Causes

The aim of the Charity Group is to select the charities that Luctonians will support each year and to organise fund raising events.

At the Annual General Meeting held in June, we were pleased to announce that the charities  for the 2018/19 season will be
Macmillan Cancer SupportProstate Cancer and Phoenix Bereavement Support Services.

We also like to raise funds to improve the community sport facilities at Mortimer Park
and last year we were able to raise funds to improve the children’s play area.

We also organise regular raffles, to support other local charities, and the various community sports which form an integral part of our club.

Most of all though, we want everyone to enjoy the social side of the club, keep in touch with friends and make some new ones too! So we will also be open to suggestions for any events / outings / trips that we can arrange for a social!  Everyone’s busy, so we welcome you however much time you can give.
