Rounders S.T.A.R. Centre

  Luctonians Sports Club has been working closely with Rounders England since Xmas 2009 to establish a Satellite Training Academy for Rounders (STAR Centre) at Mortimer Park. In essence a Community Rounders Club. There are currently only about 30 STAR Centres nationally with the majority in the North and East.

Our Star Centre has already established:

A Central Venue League for Women and Girls 16+  

Teams entered;

Kington Ladies, Kingsland Ladies, Leominster 6th Form, Luctonians Ladies, Orleton GB, YFC

All matches take place on Thursday nights from 7pm and are umpired by people who attended a Rounders England Intermediate Course at the club on June 12th.

New players always welcome and can be found a team.

The Luctonians Vixens Team

This team represents our League at Tournaments and is made up of players selected from the teams above.

Training is on Sunday mornings 11am -12-30pm and is run by qualified coaches. Players who may not want to be play in the VIxens team are very welcome.to attend.

Sunday mornings 11am -12-30pm

Rounders England Qualified Coaches with up to date CRB certification

The aim is to offer those girls who enjoy Rounders in school the opportunity to develop their skills within a club environment . Sessions include warm up, specific skill development, game situation and lots of fun.

Fixtures will be found and entry into the Rounders England structured pathway will give the best players a chance of representing their Country at National age group level.

The key to a successful Community Club is good facilities backed up by a strong infrastructure of qualified Coaches, Managers, Umpires, Motivated Players and Commited Volunteers.
