Luctonians First XI
GB Liners Marches Cricket League Champions 2016, 2017 & 2018

Luctonians Cricket Club plays at Mortimer Park and offers arguably some of the best cricket facilities in the county.
Originally derived from Kingsland Cricket Club, 1973 saw the amalgamation of the Cricket and Rugby teams playing at Mortimer Park. The cricket section was from then known as Luctonians Cricket Club. The club has grown over the years and currently runs three senior cricket sides in the Marches League.
Junior cricket was introduced to the club in the 1980’s by Richard Withers and Eric Lane with help and encouragement from the club. Currently the junior section has four sides playing at Under 9, 11, 13 and 15 levels.
The cricket club continued to develop and in 2005 it became the first club in Herefordshire to be awarded the prestigious Clubmark accreditation. This is a kitemark for cricket clubs who have to achieve certain high standards in all aspects of cricket and club management and is a testimony to the groundwork laid by those before.
