Sponsorships

Luctonians look to tailor-made sponsorship or Corporate packages to suit the individual company’s requirements and budget. Unlike most amateur sports clubs we look to give a real benefit to those businesses that support the Club. As a rough rule of thumb we allow 10% of the value of any cash, goods or services supplied to the Club in sponsorship to fund the benefits back to the sponsoring business.

The benefits returned to the sponsor are negotiated as part of the sponsorship deal and are designed to meet the needs of the Sponsor. Luctonians have set up several partnerships with business' to forward the interests of the Sponsor and the Club. A prime example is the Sun Valley Rugby Project, a three-year deal between Sun Valley, Bengrys Motors and Sportsmatch to take rugby to local schools. The whole package was tailored to meet the individual requirement of the companies involved and, with the help of Sportsmatch, all Corporate monies given into the project were doubled to give a good working capital to ensure that the project had sustainability.

In supporting Luctonians, Frame Wise Ltd recognised that they could benefit from free facility hire and the potential of offering hospitality to guests in our newly refurbished Clubroom.

Pitchside Advertising is available around the 1st XV pitch. The boards are produced by Signrite in two sizes 6' x3' (£128) 8' x 3' (£162). and are designed to survive a minumum of 3 years. The cost of displaying a board is £200 + VAT per year and this price is fixed for 3 years for anyone puchasing a board in the 2008/9 season..

Corporate Membership is available at £1500 + vat a year. You can select from the range of advertising opportunities that Luctonians offer or take advantage of discounts on Facility hire and the hospitality packages that we present. The choice is yours. On top of that you have priority allocation on International tickets for England home matches and an invitation to take up a free table of 10 at the Corporate Day.  

Tables days offer companies and individuals alike the chance to entertain customers or friends within the convivial atmosphere that a 1stXV home match creates. The £16 per head charge includes admission to the game, a programme, an excellent two course lunch and a Midlands 1 League match that can be watched either pitchside or from the comfort of the clubroom. If your idea of a rugby club is spit, sawdust and a drunken mass of oversized men singing irreverent songs then we might just change your thinking.
