Sundogs Festival

23rd June 2017

Are you a fella that loves beer, rugby sevens and music?

Are you a lady who loves beer, touch rugby, hockey and music?

……Then read on!

On Saturday June 23rd we are hosting the Sundogs Festival – a brand new event in the Luctonians calendar this year.

What’s it all about?

Well, everything happens on the 23rd – beer served from 7:30am. That’s mental, no?! No! We’re opening early because anyone entering a team into any of our competitions on the day (male or female competitions) has the option to camp over on the Friday night so they don’t have to worry about travelling straight to the venue to play – we encourage you to relax and take us up on this free optional extra!

Why again are you serving beer from this un-Godly hour?

Not sure if you’re aware but there’s this little, small time rugby match happening down under with two teams who aren’t a patch on some of our entrants to our sevens competition. What match I hear you cry?! The British & Irish Lions v All Blacks of course! So you won’t miss out we’re showing the match live in the clubhouse where you’ll be able to have breakfast too – setting you up for the festivities ahead!

In addition to this, we encourage you to enjoy everything the Sundogs Festival has to offer, which is why you can stay over on the Saturday night too (again at no extra cost) on-site with free Wi-Fi and 24 hour access to our hot shower and toilet block.

Indulge in some specialist local and national ales and ciders, enjoy the men’s competitive and social rugby 7s competitions, the ladies touch rugby competitions or the ladies hockey competitions with a host of live musical acts performing throughout the day and a late night party Saturday night with a DJ and yes, you guessed it, more beer, ale and ciders!

Enter your team NOW right here

If you don’t fancy taking part in the sports element of the festival, get yourself a ticket for the beer and music festival instead (£5 – available available for purchase from the club) and come and watch instead. We’ve literally something for everyone and we really hope you (and the sun) can join us on Saturday 24th June.
