Luctonians Sports Club is seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team

Reporting to Chef, Clubhouse Manager & Events Manager, you will be working closely with the Clubhouse Supervisor and responsible for non-cooking personnel in the kitchen.

Responsibilities for this position will include:
  • Excellent customer service is provided at all times
  • Set a good example for bar/kitchen staff with regards to punctuality, attendance, attitude, hygiene and ensure that high standards are maintained at all times
  • Manage the non cooking personnel during your shifts, ensuring staff carry out their work to the expected standards at all times
  • All non cooking staff are fully briefed whilst on shift
  • Relevant legislation is adhered
  • Cleaning plans are carried out
  • Maintaining Kitchen and Clubhouse hygiene levels to a high standard
  • Promote and practice relevant health and safety and fire standards
  • All waste and staff drinks are recorded in line with the company policies
  • Assist with induction and training of staff
  • Ensuring food is served during shift in timely manner
  • Supervising and producing food as required
Knowledge and skills required:
  • Previous kitchen experience desirable
  • Confident communicator
  • Able to remain calm under pressure
  • Own transport essential
  • Weekend and evening work essential
  • First aid qualification desirable
  • Food Hygiene certificate desirable
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Flexible working essential
